Is the hard drive storage your only concern?

Our personal computer is composed of several parts: CPU, motherboard, video card, memory, and hard drive. All these components are composed as a whole in order to function properly. As a fact, any component is replaceable except for one thing, the storage of the hard drive, which it has the operating system and our important information such as banking files, personal documents, and working papers. As far as my opinion, we are concerned the hard drive, because it stores irreplaceable information, it is vulnerable, and it can be used as backup.

In the first place, a failure in the hard drive could be a catastrophe, because all the important information is inside. In the worst case, if the hard drive stops working, the data will be lost. Furthermore, the recovery process could be painful, because the only solution is to send the hard drive to a data recover service center by paying hundreds of dollars.

In the second place, computer viruses resides in the hard drive. We could easily infect our software by surfing infected websites, installing software, and sharing data. For instance, if we catch a virus which infects the master boot sector, we will not be able to access the operative system. Besides, as the virus spreads and infects the system files of the hard drive, it can cause data corruption.

Lastly, we have to do the backup in order to be prepared for the click of death. The hard drive has its lifetime, and when it starts to make noisy clicking sounds, it means something is wrong with its heads or circuit board. At this point, instead of spending a whole day by reinstalling everything, we can restore our backed up data to the new hard drive. Moreover, the restore process is faster, our system will be normal in less than half hour.

In summary, the hard drive is where we keep our supplies. Without them, we are not able to do anything, and our work will be stuck or delayed. However, anybody who considers information as an importance, his or her main concern will be definitely the hard drive. The rest of them might have to experience the pain of information loss in order to change their minds.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is my first essay since I got my GED diploma. I did also the ACT exams, but not the writing part. I am regret about it, because I am not confident with the college writing. Any comments are welcome and appreciated, thanks for the viewing.

Is it better to live for the moment or plan for the future?

Planning for the future or just living for the moment? The big question. Time runs in seconds fastly, and with the every day passing, we're becoming older. By the years passing, opportunities are less because there's more than one of the young generation struggling to get a job. At the real society where we are living, there's always competition and someone wants to take over our job. In an unpleasant circunstance, we could be laid off by others. But if we plan for the future with getting higher education, saving money, and staying healthy, we could avoid the elimination.

Nowdays, the importance for a degree is growing. The reason it's because of the competition between companies. So most of companies are looking for the highest educated person, because they know that person could reason, solve their problems professionaly, and skip troubles for the company.

Money savings matters, we need to use it as backup. In the worst case, when we got sick and need to be treated at the hospital, we have to pay their tuition. Another case could be losing our job, so we need to look for other one. At that moment, we could use the saved money for surviving.

A crucial thing to do is to stay healthy, because we are depending from our bodies living this actual life. For the prevention of any harm to our bodies, we should avoid alcohol, drugs, cigarettes, etc. Besides, doing excercises could be helpful to get stronger muscles.

For the conclusion, planning for the future means to be a step ahead for the solution. Also, it could give us a higher probability of chances to solve an unpleasant problem. If we don't solve the problem, it could be piled and be more difficult to get it rid. The best advice we could take from now, is to bring out a sheet of paper, and start writing our future plans.
