Writing Feedback / I would like to meet Jim Thorpe, the 1912 Olympic Gold Medal winner. [4]

Hi everyone, i'm a newbie. uhm, this is the first time i comment on another's writing, maybe it's not perfect. Hoping to hear your ideas too! Thank you ^^!

About Jim, one of his attractions was his talent and achievement in sport

The simple and honest reply didn't sound like belonging to the one standing on the ceremony to which great success brought.

Thorpe had indeed played professional baseball, what he did is similar to what other college men had done, except that they did not use their own names. Not for the first or last time, a sports organization stuck to the letter of the law but not the spirit .

To rmli, i really like your nice work, it is very interesting! ;))

Writing Feedback / sharp evolution in human history;Internet provides a lot of valuable information [7]

i know that one of my weak point is clarity. :( but could you check my essay again, i rewrited it. thank you!!!:D

Our modern world has currently witnessed the improvements in human lifestyles, namely, the boom of the Internet. Despite many thoughts to the contrary about its negative impacts, i think that the Internet offers us a bulk of benefits, of which i am going to discuss.

The first element is the role of a searching tool. Nowadays, many clearly find it no hard to gain the vital sources of information with a few key words as surfing the net. An example is that of the powerful man Google, being known as the most efficient machine of information. Thus, there no longer exist the eras in which hour by hour, day by day or even month by month to look for a book let our patience down.

Secondly, another inside track is the virtual communication. Contained a multitude of websites linked perfectly, the Internet enables us to contact, chat, talk and particular discuss more about everything in every aspect. Recently, i am highly intrigued with several networks where i could learn and practice English based on the help of forum members though i never met them before. Readily, along with the Internet comes the geological distance shortened exponentially.

Finally, the Internet serves as an extraordinary advancement of repositories of knowledge. Its capacity seems to be endless, allowing an enormous amount of knowledge to be saved. For instance, many libraries such as the famous Alexandre bring the Internet to the birth of online sources of information. From them on, many readers are now more convenient to access them rather than the limited copies like they used to be.

To sum up, we human profits a host of things since the appearance of the Internet. Except from proving to be a good search tool, opening social networks full of interaction, they also become a good keeper for human progression.

Could you help me check my essay? thank you so much :D
Some people say that the Internet provides people with a lot of valuable information. Others think access too much information creates problems. Which view do you agree with? Use specific reasons and examples to support your opinion.

Internet is a sharp evolution in human history, giving profound impacts on each individual's daily life especially connecting the whole world and expanding the huge knowledge. The attempts in bringing Internet to every corner of streets, every cultures have proven this point. Personally, Internet is the best tool for me to be updated the latest news, exchange them with many people and develop my knowledge.

With Internet, i could save a significant amount of time and still attain a lot of the recent information. As can be seen, Internet contains different links connected perfectly, which enables the news to spread as much and as fast as possible. An example is that of daily online newspapers that are already full of the hottest matters while the traditional papers are still struggle with time in the running in updating the news. Additionally, the convenience in time of Internet also shows in searching. And Google is a dominated huge man, freeing you day by day, week by week wandering around bookstores, libraries to looking for the rare documents or sources.

Secondly, another element is the benefits of contacts. Internet is a giant house where thousands of people around the world could converge and post all their comments and ideas. This results in an abundance of information for everyone in this public media. As for me, i am highly intrigued with online communities in practicing English. So helpful are members who help me to improve skills, undergo experiences though i cannot practice them in native environments.

Finally, it is far clear that internet help us to gain a considered knowledge. Internet could be consider to be an alive library always moving with the endless information. In reality, many libraries such as the famous Alexandra have internet and technology applied for the sake of readers. The space of these old departments do not always mean fit for the books; instead, virtual containers might serve as a solution. Then more information have been stored and more people could access them.

To sum up, Internet has now been an utmost important role in human development. Imagine a day devoid of Internet, you could get trouble with various problem with time. Except from the time-saving feature, it also open new social networks full of interaction between people and be a good keeper for humanity's knowledge.
