I found a little bit mistakes in your essay :

One the 2nd paragraph :
For educational purpose, children have to study text books where they can gain knowledge that can surely improve their thinking skills

One the 3nd paragraph :
Secondly, the majority of older people find television as the best entertainment for their age. Television, known as the massive media, broadcast a wide range of different programmes.

Some TV programmes like Discovery show how animals struggle for their living so that we should value and protect them

Dear Bob,
I am writing this letter to appreciate your amazing photos and all that you did for me in last holiday.

First of all, sorry for my delay. I had to write this letter 10 days ago. I was so busy and didn't have any time for it. I had to prepare myself for an exam. It was very difficult for me and I was studying 16 hours a day. Finally, I took the exam yesterday. Thereupon, I could check your letter and saw your photos. Those were wonderful and made me so happy. I didn't think you could do this. It will be a great memorial for me. Every time I see these photos, I will remember you and our friends.

Well, I would like to invite you and other friends to my house in Paris next summer. I have a little surprise for you. Please let me know when you could come here.

I am writing this letter to make a reservation for next weekend, July 10th, 2010 and also ask for some information about this hotel.
My name is XXXXXXXXX XXXXXXX, I would like to reserve a room in your hotel for three nights. I will be arriving on the morning July 10th, 2011 with my wife and daughter. Thereupon I will be leaving on the afternoon July 13th, 2011.
