It is my essay for Georgetown but my teacher said that it is unclear and I have to write it more coherently with my targets. Besides, he said that the courses I chose are not unique; also, it is too long...What should I do now? Thank you for reading and revising!

When I was 13 years old, there were a terrifyingly increasing number of beggars in our country. I read one piece of report that most of the beggars are forced to do this because someone made them disabled for beggaring. How poor they are! They could have had the chance to enjoy their lives by earning money on their own! Since that time, I became more curious at this thing for the conscience sake. There was a seed planted in my mind that one day I will give the chance to the beggars to earn their own salaries. I am longing for the University that can give what I need and finally I found the Georgetown.

I suppose I can gather some tested people who have no vital threats to the society and then educate them, train them, and employ them on the facilities I built. To fulfill this target, I have to obtain deep knowledge about the courses like Human Resource Management and International business, if I am longing to contribute more. There is a program called Landegger Program, which offers professional knowledge about the global trades and business permission, the policy making and International interaction; The Landegger Program training provides the academic foundation upon which students pursue their individual opportunities, as well as promote broader societal goals around the world. These contents must benefit me a lot to my plan and guide me to the ocean of practical facts. With the help of this kind of program, I may prepare better for my aims and, if possible, I will participate in the brilliant program.

Besides, if I have no idea about the current international affairs which exert huge impact on the International Business, I will suffer the failure during the expansion of my plan and that my words to improve the life of the low-class will be nonsense. Georgetown's Department of Government is a community of theoretically-sophisticated and policy-engaged scholars and students. In teaching, the Department seeks to provide its students with the theoretical and practical knowledge at the heart of the discipline of political science and to develop skills that will be important within and beyond the discipline. These skills include critical thinking, writing, and communicating abilities that will enable our students to be productive citizens and leaders in their chosen fields (From the Website of Georgetown University). I am not only determined to build asylum for people in my country, but also to introduce it to the whole world so I must take the International Relations to learn about the basic patterns of the global interactions which can be impart by the expert faculties in Georgetown University.

In addition, during the educating process, I am bounded to face difficulties because there will be numerous types of "employees" in my company so it must be hard to uniform and train them; also, the international communication is a big obstacle too. I am eager to take the education courses in Georgetown because I learn about that Center of Intercultural Education and Development will offer enough fund to support people to promote greater mutual understand. It encourages students to make international education program and must impart useful theories and method to educate. That's very admirable!

To be honest, I suppose that everyone will take on the social responsibility but I am trying my own thoughts and, I believe that Georgetown can definitely give what I need.

Million of water drops will converge into the ocean.

Since my hometown, Hainan, a serene island in the south of China, has become the International Tourist Destination, there is a boom in improvement of our society. This policy serves as a promoter of precipitation and converge the million of raindrops of my thoughts to my final ambition-encouraging people to make our hometown better by devoting individual power; besides, this background motive me to study abroad to see the global view about my hometown, seek the method to spread out beneficial mind, and find more practical way to solve environmental issues. I knew that it is not only the matter of environment, but also the population quality.

Although we are stepping towards the International Tourist Destination, there still exist some severe problem such as the noise and waste gases produced by vehicles, betel nuts juice everywhere on the main streets, narrow and chaotic road and natural disadvantage-frequent typhoons. I believe these situations can be changed by doing something. Consequently, from that time, I have searched for a lot of opportunities to let more people realize the essence of environmental improvement. Fortunately, I got a chance to volunteer in an activity spreading the mind of Low carbon lifestyle. We went to the biggest park in our city to shout slogan: Low-carbon life, high-quality life. At first, I was afraid that few people would notice us but after riding bike touring the whole park, I surprisingly found that more and more civilians joined us; some even gave the suggestion that our association should report the public view about the current environmental condition to the relevant department. This experience strengthens my ambition to deeply deplore about the world of sociology, which refers to the circumstances people live in.

Furthermore, I think mental infusion is equally necessary so I volunteered to be the counselor in Teenager Consulting Department to help teenager to set up their confidence with society and the world we share and also suggest them to do something good for our brilliant International Tourist Destination plan. There was one case that impressed me the most. I picked up the phone from a 19-year-old girl who was almost the same age with me and she told me that she did feel desperate about herself and wanted to suicide for several times only because she couldn't get along well with her classmate and overcome the tests. According to her narrative, I learned about that she was shy, nerd a little bit and never share the same interest with her classmates. Feeling it would be a good chance to change her and let her know the power she had to contribute to the society, I sincerely asked her to learn about the issue of International Tourist Destination, participate in group activity to propagate Hainan's beauty and try to discuss about it with her classmate. Few days later, she called in again and happily told me that because of her suggestion to host a pledge activity (which was similar to my law-carbon lifestyle advocating), most classmate began to communicate with her and exchange the personal viewpoints; what's more, she said that she decided to use International Tourist Destination as the topic of her final paper and she was confident about the academic test now. I was relieved.

Thanks to the certain circumstance in Hainan where I have been for almost 17 years, I know that wherever I am, I will automatically devote into the project of my belonged community by propagandizing, by educating and most important, by acting. Even though single drops can hardly change anything, millions of drops will contribute to a powerful ocean.
