I know I'm still considered as a new student here ; Speech for my english class [4]
Okay so basically, since the new school year just started in my country, my english teacher assigned my class to deliver a speech about 3 things that matters a lot to each one of us. It's written here that my 3 things are basketball, photography and traveling. Here's just my rough draft, it is due on wednesday 28th of August, help me guys! Ok so here it is!

I know I'm still considered as a new student here in SPH, since I moved to this school only a year ago, which is not really a sufficient time to know someone. Some of you might know who and what kind of person I am but some of you might don't even know me at all. Today I would like to tell you a couple things about myself. Traveling, photography and basketball are my 3 favorite pastimes. As a person who enjoys traveling, I always remember to take pictures of every location I visit, which leads to my second point, photography. In photography, every picture I took always has a story behind it, both good and horrible stories. Finally, I like to be outside by playing basketball regularly.
First of all, I'd like to tell you about my interest in traveling. I'm aware that I'm not an expert traveler who's able to go on trips and earn money at the same time. I just like getting away from my homeland to discover different places and see what's out there. I like finding out about new cultures, innovative lifestyles, ancient beliefs, distinctive architecture and extraordinary beauties. So far, both Rome and Amsterdam are the two places that I would want to revisit. Rome has its own share of history, art and gorgeous old-looking buildings. Aside from Rome, Amsterdam is also a beautiful city, despite its reputation. Wherever I go, I always take pictures so that I could remember every place that I've ever been to.
Secondly, photography is my second favorite activity I like to do. I enjoy taking pictures especially of landscapes and nations or cities I go to, just like I said earlier. I usually take pictures using my camera and sometimes my cellphone. I started to be interested in photography since a young age, when I was around five or six. I didn't exactly understand what photography really is about back then, I just took pictures of whatever and whenever I wanted. Photography is about capturing a moment so that moment won't be easily forgotten. The good thing about photography is that there are a lot of things you can do with it. Some of the examples you could do are creating beautiful imageries and visual stories with any equipment you have, no matter how good or bad it is. Photography allows people to share their views of the Earth. Those are just some of the reasons why I really like photography.
Last, but not least, basketball is my favorite sport and the only sport that I really like to play all the time. I started to be interested in basketball since I was in grade four but started playing in the school team in grade six. As well as being a great way to stay fit, basketball also helps me to make new friends and teaches me how to cooperate with my teammates. Playing basketball can be intense at times. In a game, I have to know and understand every solution of the situation I'm in, like when I got blocked when I was dribbling or when my opponents got the ball. In basketball, I have to be physically active and tough. I can't just stand still and wait for the ball to come to me, I have to move around and fight for the ball. I never get bored of playing basketball, no matter how tiring it is.
Finally, you now know that traveling, photography and basketball are my three favorite things I like and often to do. I like to travel to other places and learn new studies at the same time. I fancy photography because there are a lot of fun and interesting stuff you could do. Lastly, basketball is my favorite sport because you could experience a lot of things that you can't experience in other sports.
