The diagram illustrates the life of salmon in eight main from releasing egg into the river to mature adult salmon.
The life cycle of the salmon begins when the female adult salmon lay eggs into the river, a process called spwning. After the incubation period, the creatures emerge from the eggs but they are not yet fully formed. Then the baby fishes stay here until they are big enough, they move from the river to the eatuary.
In this stage, the young fishes spend some time in the estuary. Following that, the juveniles migrate to the saltwater of the ocean where they can continue to grow to a mature salmon. At the end of process, many adult salmons migrate back up the estuary to spawning areas.
Overall, we can see a significant thing in this process is there are various stages in the development salmon that begins and ends in the river.
