Undergraduate / Pursue a career in film and media; Emerson / What influenced to select my major [3]

I'm new to the forum so I am sorry if this is posted in the wrong section. Here is the question: As you know, the academic programs at Emerson College are focused on communication and the arts. Please tell us what influenced you to select your major. If you're undecided about your major, what attracted you to Emerson's programs? Please be brief (100-200 words).

My response: Emerson comes highly recommended by friends and family. I am looking for a school that is inclusive to everyone; no matter what ethnicity, religion, or sexual preference. After reading the "Mission" section of the Emerson College Brochure, I believe that it is a great place to begin my college career. Although leaving New York City will not be easy, the beautiful location of Emerson's campus gives me the feeling of being in a home away from home. In the future, I would like to pursue a career in film and media but for now, I am unsure. What I am sure of is that the creativity of my fellow student body at Emerson will give me the support I need to find the correct path and make the right decision for my future. I am looking forward to making Emerson the most opportune experience of my life.
