Undergraduate / 'odd combination of dreamer, brutal realist and pragmatist' - How do you define yourself? [4]

One way Babson defines itself is through the notion of creating great economic and social value everywhere. How do you define yourself?

I would like to define myself as an odd combination of dreamer, brutal realist and pragmatist. Since I have strong interest in Chinese traditional handicraft, especially fabric arts, I always have the dream of introducing Chinese traditional handicraft culture to everyone around the me and further to everywhere all over the world. Honestly, the dream is fantastic (I believe) but the reality is always brutal. I once naively thought if I establish a Chinese traditional handicraft club in high school, everyone should have the responsibility to join and learn some traditional handicraft skills since these skills represent our own culture. However, there were only few students attended my club. Perplexed by the unexpected result, I reflected my plan to figure out the reason and finally turned my vision to reality. I realized that setting up a club was like opening a business, I had to provide what students truly want and to advertise the goal of my club. Hence, I went to pragmatize my big and seemingly unrealistic dream. By surveying what particular skill or concept of Chinese traditional culture they were interested in, delivering presentations and putting up posters, I successfully attracted one half of students in the school to participate in my club. As shown in this case, "Dare to think, dare to make it real" is what I think that can best describe me.
