Beginning of the book, Running Dream, it took place in hospital room. Then it mostly took place in her house and school. As she enters the house she smells onions, oregano, and garlic-her mom's spaghetti sauce. Sherlock lets out a happy bark and Jessica is happy to be home. Her room was use to be in last room on the right upstairs, but now her room is downstairs in the family room. If the story didn't took place in at her home, it wouldn't show how much their parents love her and worry about her. Also it wouldn't show that she feels comfortable at her home. At school everyone welcomes her and happy to see her. At the students parking lot, Shandall who was in the track team, squeals and hugs her. She is happy to see that she was missed by her friends and teacher. If Jessica didn't go to school, she wouldn't meet Rosa, she wouldn't get her running leg without her track team friends, and she wouldn't of start running again.
