as I am not a native english speaker i am wondering if you could look at the spelling / structure and overall message of my motivation letter!
As a recently graduated architecture student who is hungry for meaningful experience within an excellent international company I am exited to apply for the internship program that runs from September 2013 to September 2014.
I have discovered this opening on your website which I check frequently for inspiration because of your projects fascinating synthesis of theory, design and practice.
My contribution to your company can be made at this intersection. Due to my, international experience in architecture + construction combined with a passion for philosophy I have acquired a multi-perspective approach to design, which enables me to think critically and find original / informed solutions to architectural problems.
This position is right for me at this stage of my career because I love the way that (company) views architecture as the embodiment of social interactions and actualizes these relationships without compromising the original concept. It is exactly this actualization process that I have not got to experience yet in my successful academic life and I am exited to learn this trade at (company)!
My resume with contact information and portfolio underlining my academic credentials are attached together with this application letter for your reference. Should you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me any time.
Thank you for your time and consideration in reviewing my materials.
I look forward to hearing the (hopefully good) news from you.
I think that the contents of this formal letter is well organized, but I have one suggestion to you, that at the end of your letter you have to indicate the expected date to get a response in order to make the letter more serious..
