Dear Sir or Madame,

My name is (name here) and I am currently a Bachelors of Architecture student attending the (college here). I am very interest in a possible graphic design internship this summer at (firm/organization here).

I am searching for an opportunity to stretch my imagination and explore the interactive world of graphic design. I want to cooperate with colored minds and tackle thought-provoking challenges. And I want to make a difference, to motivate a positive change in the world. After researching your foundation online, I have found that your internship position offers a chance at all of the above.

I am a self-educated artist and freelance graphic designer. My creative design process is inspired by the architectural studio courses I have taken. And through my formal education, I have learned how to use different design software, translate information into design, to mix media and to be resourceful when required. My freelance work is comprised of logos, business cards, flyers, t-shirts and album cover artwork. And I am willing to apply myself to create what is necessary.

I was born in Brooklyn, New York, where I live today, but was raised in Cairo, Egypt for the latter half of my life. By traveling, I feel like I have had the opportunity to engage the world. Being half Egyptian, it opened my mind to different forms of inspiration and gave me a better grasp of who I am. I appreciate what (firm/organization) is doing for relations with the region and if I can, I want use my skills to help bring a balanced international relationship a little bit closer. I sincerely hope that you consider me for a position this summer. I have attached a resume for your review. You can reach me by calling (number here) or by emailing (email here). Thank you for your consideration.

Sincerely,

(name here)

I am searching for an opportunity to stretch my imagination and explore the interactive world of graphic design. I don't think stretch is a good work here.

I think you say "I want to" too often you should probably combine those sentences or something.
Other than those I think its good.

I want to cooperate with colored minds and tackle thought-provoking challenges.

I would substitute "colored" with something else because it sounds a little confusing. I know what you are trying to say, but use a different word. But the rest of your letter is well written. I hope this helps!
