ok im writing about queen elizabeth as a poet, and im not sure what a good thesis statement would be. so far i have,
Queen Elizabeth, like her father, was a poet, and it was of great value to her. Writing poetry helped her to express what she was enduring while prisoner of Woodstock.
i need help completing this statement; need more meat on the bone!
"Queen Elizabeth, like her father, was a poet, and it was of great value to her. Writing poetry helped herQueen Elizabeth to express what she was enduring while prisoner of Woodstock."
Okay, so add an explanation of what exactly it was she endured and how her poetry reflects this specifically, both in form and content.
Right, and you can put "like her father" and other details into your background or body paragraphs.
Specific Topic for Queen Elizabeth
I'm writing an 8 page paper (minimum) on queen elizabeth I. Despite the fact that she is very interesting I can't come up with a topic specific enough to write my paper on. If anyone can give me an idea for something I could use that would be great. Thanks!
Here are a few places to get you started;
elizabethan-era.org.uk/interesting-facts-about-queen-elizab eth-i.htm
funtrivia.com/en/People/Elizabeth-I-8760.html
I looked up 'interesting facts about Queen Elizabeth 1'. Maybe you could write something out of the ordinary, like an essay about her insecurities. (She wore big dresses with huge sleeves so people would perceive her as bigger, etc.)
Good luck and try to have fun with this!
