I am doing a specail study on Siblings vs only child.
the focus q's are
1.DO CHILDREN BENEFIT IN AREAS OF EMOTIONAL AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT COMPARED TO THAT OF AN ONLY CHILD
2.WHAT SOCIAL BENEFITS ARE GAINED FROM SIBLING RELATIONSHIPS?
3.ARE LEVELS OF EMPATHY HEIGHTENED FROM SIBLING RELATIONSHIPS?
4.DOES THIS DEBATE BECOME NULL AND VOID ONCE AN ONLY CHILD STARTS CHILDCARE AND/OR SCHOOL?

I have a brother and even though we have quarrels very often I think that it is much better to have 2 or more children. SIBLING RELATIONSHIPS learn us to take care about other people. That is good because in this way a child will not be selfish, but will be sympathetic.
A human is the social creature. And communication from the childhood will be very useful foe the future.
Also having brothers or sisters means having support during the life.
I hope my ideas will help you to right a good essay.
I believe having a brother or a sister would teach the child sharing patiencey and many other important behaviors. But also being a lonely child has its benifts like, more attention, better living(because now the family will only have one child to spend the money on,like better education).In each case there is advantages and disadvantages.It is a very good topic,I hope I helped.

By using these searches, you will find a lot!!
Read one article, and write one paragraph about how on of the questions might be answered based on that author's ideas.
Do the same with the next article.... one article = one paragraph in your paper.
There are ups and downs having siblings.
Being an only child you'll receive the most attention, but you can also be lonely, especially on family
vacations.
Having siblings, you'll have a companion during family vacations, and you're more social.
And, you won't be lonely. It's more fun having siblings rather than being all by yourself.
Siblings will always be there for you and teach you skills.
