I wish to continue my study by pursuing Master of Science in Project Management, as I have already a master degree in mathematics from a most prestigious university in Pakistan i.e. Quaid-E-Azam University and MBA in Project Management from Preston University the program in US will further enable me how to think critically, induce performance, manage ethical and cultural challenges, respond to unforeseen obstacles that arise during the project life cycle. and learn how to manage projects on time and within budget.
Planning, scheduling, budgeting and guiding projects from start to completion of the project are the main objectives a successful project manager must achieve. Moreover, I will learn how to negotiate and communicate my way through multiple projects, satisfy internal and external stakeholder demands, and keep tabs on diverse, cross-functional teams.
One can find project managers in any kind of industries. Project management is one of the basic skills which are needed by the professional project managers to successfully organizing and managing a complex and dynamic project.
Pakistan is in the grip of a serious energy crisis that is affecting all sectors of the economy and the various segments of the society. In this scenario, Pakistan are in dire need of experts in all field to cater the problem in a fast pace in the energy sector. Although the subject project management is highly in demand in Pakistan, there are still a several challenges in implementing this type in reality. Because of the on-going crisis, in any field. Pakistan needs future leaders to cater the complex issues.
Since May 2004, I am working as a manager in Shahzad International which has established a strong indigenous base in exploration and production of oil and gas in Pakistan they also arrange procurement of equipment & specialized services from abroad and is a supplier of general machinery , sophisticated material and services to the energy related industry in Pakistan and region. I am a part of the team that is responsible for the overall life cycle of the energy related projects. Furthermore, with my background in mathematics and project management I fully endorsed the requirement of MS in Project Management.
I would like to gain a deeper understanding of the subject so that I can implement new techniques in my organization in a better way which in turn will be beneficial for the management of energy business of my country and will certainly provide me the opportunity to access further in the hierarchy of organization within the specified field.
Keeping in view the future objectives. With my previous experience and academic record and the knowledge obtained from this program in US; I will have the opportunity to play a significant role as a project expert in shaping of the development of energy department of my organization which will benefit my country and in turn will give me a platform to further enhance my career.
