my leadership potentials



I have a strong belief that Leadership skills is playing a crucial role in one's personality development and whole community as well I discovered my leadership potentials from my work experience cause dealing with different cultures, mentalities even different scientific background and professional attitude is not that easy and no one can handle that unless he is a leader who is capable of upgrading the knowledge &awareness of his team and rise his company's name in global market as well.

Through my position as research and product development section head in a specialized company in finding safe cures for bleeding disorder patients in developing countries this actually escalate my skills a lot because I learnt to dedicate my time &efforts more towards helping others and be patient to see the results of my efforts because true leader should be results oriented.

When we started the blood transfusion establishments project we faced some problems related to materials and required devices that weren't available at that time so I take the step and put the design of medical device specialized for immunoglobulin purification this was like the first step which enables me to gain the trust of the top management so that they asked me to build the team of r&d. the responsibility wasn't easy at all because everyone in my team was concerned with different task in different section so it was a big challenge to collaborate together. so as a leader should has vision my vision at that time was to deliver an integrated and secured solution for the viral inactivation of blood components in compliance with global market quality standard.

so directly I started to define the priorities for handling the tasks& also outline the objectives of the training program for my team which focusing on increasing the awareness of bleeding disorder and the importance of finding solution also outline the importance of infection control role and operating of the medical devices we invented and how to take care of its environmental impact all of this was done step by step first through events also I started to encourage my colleagues to do their best so I asked the management to show recognition through overtime, best employee etc, this make the work environment full of enthusiasm and challenge and has a huge impact on the section productivity which increased by more than 50% than target . due to all of these cooperation between team and good communication we got GMP accreditation and it became one of the biggest sections in my company and now I became the international trainer for VIPS medical technologies all of this due to continuous d developing , skills enhancing , strong believing in company's value and team capabilities .

regardless some grammatical mistakes that i'm still working on it i want help about this

Susan, your leadership role as a whole sounds more dictatorial rather than collaborative. You sound very harsh as a leader who just gives orders to your team members with little regard for your team mates. Your sole focus seems to be only on the completion of the project at all cost. This does not bode well for you as a leader. Remember that the scholarship committee is looking for future leaders and influencers in your country. You cannot be a leader nor an influencer if you merely bark out orders and expect your people to follow your instructions. You need to soften your projection with regards to your leadership skills and personality. Be more of a people leader rather than a cut and dried leader.

Portray yourself as a leader who understands the demands of the project and the toll it takes on your employees. Then present ways by which you influenced them to perform better by being compassionate and empathic. Be a leader who identifies with the needs of team that is working in such an important project. Your essay should be less technical and more focused on people management in a manner that shows how you are a compassionate leader who gets the team to work together because you are not just a leader, but because you identify as part of the team.

thanks you so much for replying and highlighting what's wrong about this essay . i'm still working on this maybe i misunderstood the question I just tried to conclude my role as leader or what i'm doing exactly. i will modify and repost it
