"Why should we vote for her? She is new." - editing my student council speech

This is my speech. I don't feel it is good enough. Need some details adding.
It is supposed to be 1-2 minutes long. I will read it on the morning announcement.
I am so nervous right now. please help me. Thanks.

Good morning. My name is Rayni Wang, and I am running for senior class vice president.

As you all know, next year will be our senior year. And how you describe senior year? It could be exciting, boring, important, easy or stressful. Senior year can be whatever you make it. I am sure all of you want to make your senior year different. Let me help you by listening to your voices, taking care of the problems and decisions.

Some people might say "Why should we vote for her? She is new." Yes, I am fairly new to Badin. At first, this may seems like a disadvantage. I didn't go here my freshman year, and I've only known most of you for 2 years. When you think about it, there is actually a benefit in choosing someone who is coming into the school from somewhere else. I have new ideas that I can bring in from the school I was at before. Are you tired of doing the same old things year after year? Are you ready to do something different?

If you vote for me as senior class vice president, I promise to always get your opinions. You should have a say in the actions that will affect you. I will take this job seriously and do it the best of my ability. Please vote for me, Rayni Wang.

Your speech is great to me. But I still have points to say:
it is important to deliver your speach without reading it from the the paper, so the students think that you are so confident and will be on the right place if they choose you.

try to use card so it can remind you of some points but dont read it.
