Does being on the dean's list count? - question about the UC application

for awards and honors in the uc apps, does being on the dean's list count? if it does, what do i put on the date received if i didn't receive any tangible document along with it and it was awarded for my work in Spring 2008? do i put the last month and year i of the semester i was awarded in or what? help would be appreciated. thanks.

Yes, it counts. Usually you don't receive a tangible document for the Dean's Award, but it's definitely documented with the institute that you are at. Also, I believe that it would be safe to mark it down for the end of the semester that you received it for i.e. month, year (since they are given out at the end of the semester).
