Hi People ! I am Sam from Malaysia , Currently 15 planning to take up science stream for next year. Is it advisable to take up English Literature ? Is It hard ?

In some school the English Literature teachers really whip writing into your brain. Depending on teacher I would definitely take it because the writing skills will prepare you well for college. People who took this course kept cranking through the books, from Shakespeare through postmodern lit. As soon as they finished one, they pick up another. they wrote a lot (mainly in class, though, to keep our essay times down). It's really useful and enlightening.

It is just a little challenging but once you finish the class, you'll be glad you took it because it helps you with preparing for college. Since most colleges require essays, it helps you improve your essay skills, gives you many examples to use in your essays and improves your SAT grammar skills as well.
