I am looking for short writing exercise for beginner or elementary learner such as picture story.

i think the best topic should be: let them choose a picture that they like the most and then describe it. or the topic can be a story or their opinion about the books they have read in their languages, or a person that they are admired, or political issues. That's all i want to say. hope it can help
