The nursing personal statement should be 1 ˝ - 2 pages, double spaced, and detail your reasons for applying to the nursing program. We specifically look for four components in your essay:

- your command of the English language (correct grammar, appropriate style)
- health care interest
- commitment to social justice
- altruism (i.e., what will you give back to the communities you serve? How will you use your education to help people?)
This is the requirements for my essay for undergraduate admission into the school of nursing. I am having such a hard time trying to integrate social justice into an essay.

Hmmm, you seem to have forgotten to post your essay!

In terms of social justice-- I believe they're looking for your level of commitment to other people. I.e. are you compassionate? How will you deal with difficult situations? In terms of your moral ethics, how will you respond to sensitive situations?
