WHY NYU??

WHY NYU?

New York University apart from being one of the most prestigious colleges in the country ,NYU like New York City, never sleeps. By that I meant that there is always anything to do, if you want to fight against pollution, you have a society for that, if you want to play professional, there are various varsity teams there is always something to tweak with. I never gave my studies preference over my extracurricular nor my extracurricular so maintaining a balance between my core curriculum classes and extracurricular , can be easily fit in the mold for me . Known for its unique competitive environment, it will increase my abilities to think out of the box and take critical decisions. Studying in an institution overseas next to the tallest sky scrapers, perplexing sub ways and an array of parks and historical places makes me more and more curious for NYU.

The university will fulfill my intellectual ,physical and social needs and help me achieve my goals and ambitions.

You should try to be more specific with your examples. What varsity teams? Colleges in general are more interested in detail rather than ordinary facts that don't have much content. In addition, there are multiple grammatical errors throughout the essay. I don't have much time to go through them all, but watch out for your commas and organize your sentences in a way that will help the passage flow smoothly.

In essence, I see that you have a lot to say about the university, but you need to be extremely specific. Focus on the university more than the city itself.
