please help with my nyu supplements, i wrote it in a short period of time so it probably won't be very impressive:
NYU's global network provides students with hundreds of academic areas of interest for students to cultivate their intellectual curiosity and to help achieve their career goals. Whether you are entirely undecided about your academic plans or you have a definitive program of study in mind, what are your own academic interests? Feel free to share any thoughts on any particular programs or how you might explore those interests at NYU on any of our campuses.
Science by its most fundamental definition is the body of knowledge accumulated through the study and observation of the natural world. However, to me, it is much more than that. To me, science is a way of thinking, a passion, and so much more. I, like many others, have a natural curiosity of the universe and how it works. It would be a dream of mine to contribute to the body of knowledge that has been accumulated through the work of science. Although such a goal may seem overly ambitious, i remain optimistic that i will one day contribute to man's success. Although i am not certain of what i career i will pursue, i am certain that i will pursue a career in science. Currently my interest lies in the medical field, where not only will i have the opportunity to learn about the complexities of the human body, but also use that knowledge to help other people. Of all the courses i have taken in high school, my favorite was chemistry, learning about the periodic elements and the properties of atoms amused me, so i believe that the career i will pursue in college will be primarily chemistry based. I believe NYU would be the perfect school to pursue a career in the medical field given its world class education and facaulty.
