2. Briefly describe a group, organization, or community that you have been involved in, are a member of, and/or have contributed to. What contributions have you made as a member of this group? Were you able to lead, influence others and/or influence decisions for the good of the group and its goals? How has your involvement helped make this community better? (900-character limit)

For the past 2 years, I have been an active member and the Head of Technology in my school's STEM club. In this role, I organized and led various engaging events centered around technology, including coding workshops, tech demos and hands-on projects. Last year, I held a highly successful event where students built race cars from materials like batteries, wires and other technology. This event significantly increased the club's popularity and attracted many new members to other events. My contributions helped make the club a more vibrant and inclusive space for students to explore technology. It was great to see how my leadership brought everyone together and helped them pick up valuable technology skills during these events. This experience helped me grow as a leader, teaching me how to support others in building their tech skills while encouraging teamwork and creativity.

Your response is over the allowable limit by 17 words. The statement must be edited for content in this case. That is a good thing because the answer you have provided actually requires changes to be made for it to be more prompt adherent. You properly referenced your membership and leadership in a school organization, falling under the community requirement. However, your response in relation to how you led and influence the group, along with the improvements in the community because of your contribution need to be more properly addressed. Your leadership role during the event is not really clear to the reader. How did you function as a leader? The outcome or basis of the activity does not immediately reflect a leadership role and outcome on your part. You also speak of how you have grown as a leader at the end of the statement, when the requirement is that you should be focusing on how the community became better because of your leadership skill. So, I guess it would be better if you address a problem within the community, in relation to the activity you mentioned that would help you respond to the prompt requirements in totality.

Thanks for the response. The questions on the AIF say that there is a 900 character limit, so its not by words. Here is my new response

For the past two years, I have been an active member and Head of Technology in my school's STEM club. In this role, I identified a lack of engagement in technology-based activities and decided to hold a hands-on event where students built race cars from materials like batteries and wires. As the leader, before the event, I held a presentation to share tips and tricks for building, explaining key rules and concepts to ensure everyone was prepared. I guided participants through the process, ensuring they understood the principles of technology while encouraging teamwork. I took responsibility for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the event. This event attracted new members to the STEM club, having them return for future events. My leadership throughout this event transformed the club from just an average club, into a space where students are excited to learn, collaborate and innovate.

@danyal_asghar21

This is a very strong paragraph which highlights how u managed a leadership role effectively.

however your grammar needs a bit of work because your missing some commas in places.

Plus you might wanna talk about what you personally learned from this experience and how it helped you grow as a leader.

also you are almost too detailed in some places (ex. "materials like batteries and wires").
