First, air leaks into the house from several different places. Both of windows and a door in first floor seems becoming the main entrance of it. Another air comes through from outdoor facet and crawl space in the basement, but only in a small quantity. Household appliances, such as dryer vent and kitchen fan also allow air to penetrating into home.
Next, owing to carrying heat from electric appliances and human activities in certain room, the large amount of air rises and escapes by penetrates through the ceiling in the first floor. This air passes attic hatch and recessed lights which leads to the space in roof.
These circumstances mean dissipate the energy since cold air absorbs the heat and carrying it to outside of the house.
