Religion is good for the people - does it touch on the line of poetry?

Does thought about real matter exist or is it just an illusion that the world has created for us? To actually get close to this matter we have to examine the explanation of matter that does exist. Is this matter subjective? Of course it is. How could anything that is in our realm of thought not be subjective? The only way to examine this matter is to have the thoughts of objectivity. How do you explain relevant thoughts in an objective way? The problem that occurs is that every thought have always been, and shall always be, close to subjectivity. However, I believe that thought, although, in the human mind, can be thought of, examined, and believed in, an objective way, a way that is closer to this world. The thoughts and beliefs I am talking about is science. Science is a world that is not to well explained in the minds of the the non-thinking people. However, I believe that this thought, or this well-being could be explained to those who realize things about the world. It does not mean that you have to think mathematically about the world, it does not mean that you have to understand the world physically, it only means that you have to get a better understanding than you have now.

So how do you accomplish such things. Do you really have to have the proper understanding about the world? I do not believe so. However, if it is through religion; (I want to put a comma here but it's to important) Please think further. Please try to think of the world as being one thing. Not as we have been taught. Not as being something different. Please do not get me wrong. We are different; eyes, body, mind, we are always going to be different. That does not mean that anyone should be ecluded, we are different. The more you examine the world, the more you educate yourself about the world, the more you come closer to the understanding that we are one.

One as in one. It does not matter if you are Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Mongolian, Israeli, American, Chilean, Swedish, Belgian, French, South African, Nigerian, Sudanese, Omanese. It does not matter. The only thing that matters, is how you think about the world. How you think about the world is how you determine if you are happy or not.

It should not be of any prejudice at all. I feel that I have been raped with prejudice, just like everyone else. We have all been raped with prejudice. Prejudice is, and I hope, has been thought of before, very close to religion. Religion is built upon prejudice. I am sorry, I do not want to offend the religious people. (Most of the religious people I talk to are very reasonable beings and I am happy to talk to them.) But, and this might seem strange; I am happy to listen to religious people for my own benefit and knowledge.

What I'm scared of is just that. Why is there a thing called religion? I thought, and I'm not the only one, that religion would have been extinct by know. I'm not old, I have not gotten knowledge about much things except my own, however, being religious is somewhat of an alien thought to me. It is simply a science-fiction story gone true in this world.

Not at all weird or beyond any conclusion, religion was once actually good for people. It was needed when 'we had to stick together'. But, it has stuck for o' so long. It has been, if you examine Darwinism, a thing, an item, a thought, a 'dingus' if you want to put it that way, that humans would have 'contrived', simply because it helped us.

In this hours of thought it has been going on for to long. It is, however, something that we try to fall away from (hopefully). Religion is interesting, and only because of the fact that it helped the predecessors of our kind. How it is still here? It's inexplicable.

If you read it (I just wrote it) please comment and we shall have a discussion!

Hooray! An interesting collection of semi-random thoughts! It is definitely prose and not poetry. It is also not really an essay, as it lacks a clear thesis and essay structure. You could probably turn it into the basis of a strong essay, though -- freewrites can be an excellent way to start thinking about topics for more formal writing. So, try picking the idea that matters most to you, and think of ways that you could support and develop that single idea into a coherent argument for your position. Good luck.

Thank you Sean!

It has been most inspiring that you see it as 'having thought' implemented. English is the second language that I'm using and to put it lightly, it is a terrific one! I am looking forward to every sentence that comes to my mind, either from reading or writing, as English seems to be the most formidable one. (Maybe it is more interesting now, when it's new?). However, it is not simply English, all writing has become interesting. Are we always falling into the interests of language?

There is always a certain amount of fun in engaging with a new language. What's your first one? English is one of the most difficult languages to learn, because it is a mixture of Germanic and Romance. That's why it has so many words (three times more than most others) and so many grammatical exceptions! On the bright side, if you already know a Romance or a Germanic language, then English becomes much easier to pick up. In any event, you have some interesting ideas, so try writing them up into a true essay, a piece of writing meant to convey a single coherent point.
