A compare and contrast essay on two people i know - writing an introduction!

I have an outline due, and i'm having difficulty with writing an introduction. I have to write an compare and contrast essay on two people i know. I chose my mom and aunt but I cant seem to get writing on an intro. going. My mom is the calm responsible perfectionist, my aunt is the crazy, funny, dis organized one. i've got this so far...but i dont know if its what i want to do. I just need help!

It's common knowledge that every person is unique. Two unique people in my life are my mom and aunt. My mom has always been the responsible, happy, neat freak. If you come over to my house, make a mess and don't clean it up my mom goes crazy and power cleans.

I like your intoduction so far! does your aunt come over often? if so write about how they act when they are together, being that there so different. Say something about how your aunt is the opposite, shes carefree and scoffs and your moms structured living. hope this helps and goodluck!

Try this method:
1.)Write a body paragraph all about your mom.
2.) Write a body paragraph all about your aunt.
3. Write a paragraph that talks about the ways they are similar AND the ways they are different.
4.) Write a conclusion paragraph that reflects on the interesting INSIGHT you gained from comparing them.
5. Finally, go back to the top of the page and write an intro that tells the main ideas and that important insight... the insight that is like the "fruit of the essay."
