Essay structure (my first essay for a Management class)

Hi,

I'm studying in the UK and I'm about to write my first essay for a Management class. We were given a case study and need to answer 3 questions based on the text.

I'd like to know whether I should answer these questions one by one with each question as a headline, or whether I should just write one continuous text answering all the questions.

If my essay should be a continuous text, how do I structure it? Obviously introduction, main part, and conclusion, but should I still answer the questions one by one?

This may be a very simple query, but I'd be very grateful for some advice.

You're supposed to right just ONE essay or answer the questions with an essay each? If the questions are related then you can answer them one by one in 1 essay, a paragraph 4 each one. So there would be introduction, the three questions, conclusion but remember paragraphs also need the same structure too. Make sure you 'tie' them altogether so the essay makes sense.

I like using headlines (i.e. headings and subheadings). I wish all teachers allowed it, but some say you should not use subheadings. They are useful, though! They succinctly express an idea in a way that is easy to remember.

Anyway, you can use them or not, depending on if the prof says it's okay.

But for the essay, do this:
5 paragraph essay -- intro, 3 body paragraphs, and conclusion paragraph. That's five.
- End the first paragraph with your most important observation about what happened (i.e. thesis statement).
- Begin each body paragraph with a TOPIC SENTENCE that answers one of the three questions.
- After three body paragraphs, write a conclusion that talks about the thesis statement again.
