Who Am I Essay for University Dorm Application?(short)

I'm new here and I hope I didn't break any rules of this forum. I need help on writing an essay about who am I for university dorm application. Should I make it formal or make it like a slumbook-type-info. essay? It says the essay has to be short. What topics about myself should I tackle?

I'm not sure what a slumbook-type-info essay is, but it shouldn't be that formal, yet you should not be too informal either.

You should address the person, state your particulars (name, age) and write your request and reason for applying. You could add on some traits about yourself that you feel would be important for your recipient to know. Ask yourself, are you a responsible person? etc.
