Writing a introduction for a essay on your own writing process

Hi my name is Heidi and I'm 38. I recently enrolled in college to help better myself. My problem is that I have a 300 word essay due on my own writing process. The assignment says that I can tell of a specific writing assignment that might be related to career,personal or academic life. Describe what the assignment was and explain how you moved through the planning to the reviewing process. But I am stuck with how to even begin the first paragraph. Can anyone help me? It's been over 20 years since I've been in school and this is all new to me again.
