Starscream 1 / 1 May 18, 2011 #1Im currently writting an essay about banning smoking in public. My main arguments are, it will reduce the amount of heartattacks, costs alot, and non-smoker exposer. I have a introduction but no thesis statement. Could anyone help me write one?

Always write the thesis statement last! :-)You can write one paragraph about each article you read, and after you have done that go back and look for the message you get when you read all your paragraphs. That is the thesis statement.If necessary, go back and modify the first and last sentence of every para to make sure each para has a main idea that supports your thesis statement.
