I am in need of a very good statement of purpose to enter in to my PhD in mechanical Engineering. I am sharing my all academic and personal interests. Please help me to mould this detail into a good SOP.
My immediate career objective is a PhD degree in gasifier engine technology and a research oriented career in industry or academia.
I came to know about gasifier engines when i entered in my final year of graduation. It was a very different project i had selected in comparison with my friends. It gave me that feeling that i am doing something good or in future i can contribute to the society in conserving the fossil fuels and use of renewable resources. India has huge potential of biomass and India will be a developed country when it will start creating most of the power from renewable resources. With that feeling i started my journey in gasifier engine technology.
I have been graduated in mechanical engineering from Maharishi Dayanand university, Rohtak with first class percentage. In my graduation, I have done research on gasifier engine by using pellets of dry leaves raw material and fuel characterization has been done also. Work on this type of project encouraged me to do postgraduate and i have completed my Master of technology in thermal engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi. During Post-graduation, I did research on gasifier engine considering the optimization of engine parameters.
In both graduation and post-graduation, I am extensively exposed to gasifier engines. I have also done courses on rural development systems, Design of I C engine components and subsystems, Analysis of I C engine processes and thermal systems simulation and design.. I have experienced testing of high speed engines and running of IC engine on alternative fuel with the optimization of parameters for maximum power output. I also did some work on characterization of fuel and studied the various parameters which are responsible for the quality of fuel. During my course"simulation of thermal systems", I am exposed to simulation work on engines and other thermal systems. I have experienced testing of high speed engines and running of gas engines on alternative fuels with the optimization of engine parameters for maximum power output. I has also done simulation work on I C engines and other thermal systems.
