GKS PERSONAL STATEMENT
My interests in management and leadership began as a class president during high school, an experience that helped me develop leading sociable abilities. I later learned that leadership was an essential business skill, which led me to become interested in studying business. Through my management and economy undergraduate studies I was introduced to a variety of subjects such as accounting, finance, human resources, management, and marketing ... those courses helped me to gain knowledge of the different areas of a business and how they function together.
Knowing that I will need more than theoretical knowledge to prepare myself to integrate into the business world I completed a traineeship in accounting to discover the professional aspect of my studies, and to learn more about the vital role accounting plays in running a business and the importance of technology in accounting.
By the end of the semester, I will complete a traineeship in management control, through which I aspire to learn more about the systems that managers use to make sure that the organization is run in an effective way.
During my undergraduate studies I worked as a part-time teacher, I gave private tutoring to primary school students, and as someone who is passionate about giving back to society, I have never hesitated to give free lessons to students who couldn't afford it because a child potential should never be held back because of financial difficulties.
Through geography classes in High school, we had a glimpse of the economic growth in Asia, a topic that got me curious to learn more about South Korea, as one of the fastest developing countries in the world the Miracle on the Han River, a success that it's attributed to two main factors the rigorous education system and the establishment of a highly motivated and educated populace.
I became interested in studying in South Korea as I learned about the scholarship offered by the Korean Government and the good quality of education. While I searched for Korean universities online, I was exposed more and more to the high quality of education they provided, which got me impressed.
South Korea is without a doubt a beautiful country, it has its unique culture, character, cloth, and food that separate from the countries nearby. I believe learning Korean will allow me to appreciate the beauty, the ancient culture, and the rich heritage of South Korea. As someone who cherishes good bonds with teachers, classmates, and friends, Korean will definitely help me build strong relationships with the people I will encounter during my stay in Korea.
The graduate MBA program in Korea will not only expand my knowledge in the business field but also increase my job opportunities, as I will have great access to Korean and Moroccan firms across all industries in Korea and also back in my home country Morocco.
I believe studying in South Korea through the GKS scholarship will allow me to benefit from a world-class education that I ordinarily wouldn't be able to afford. I am very hopeful that this application will receive your favorable consideration.
I appreciate your attention and I look forward to hearing from you.
