In not many decades ago, we have seen a huge number of new inventions, like Internet, laptop, e-book, mp3 players. Through expanding these instruments some people say printed media like newspaper, magazine and books are going toward disappear. But I like another people believe that new equipments can not completely substitute old things.
Fist, if someone wants use e-books, he / she should have a PC (computer) or laptop. So, they can not be read wherever like at a trip in the train, unless reader buy s laptop. Hence, Although e-books seem not very expensive, access them cost a considerably price on you.
Second, one of its advantages is, everyone can use many books, lectures (as e- book) in a small hard-drive, instead of having a big book case. Also I can mention one of its disadvantages that people have to sit on their chair for a long time and stare to screen, it is not healthy at all. Moreover, looking at monitor is much more harmful rather than looking at papers.
Third, when camera and cinema was invented in the earliest 20th century, many people thought theater would be disappear (fade) gradually. Contrary, we can see it remains still as a great art, it has many festivals around the world and enormous witnesses while people can sit in their sofa and watch movies. The same will happen for printed media.
To put in nutshell, although new technologies have many benefits, they never become substitute for old things totally. I think reading e-book sometimes would be boring and makes eyes tired, So people might prefer to reading newspaper in the trains, bus stations, waiting halls, and use their time in the best way.
