In the Progressing field of Engineering and Technology, Where a concept or an innovation grows old and obsolete the next day, I wish to pursue the paramount level of education and probe new horizons. The combine applications of technology and management have always allured me. Studying in that direction and working with the magnates of that field is my sole objective.

Right from my school I had a keen interest in Electronics. This basic interest led me to take Electronics & telecommunication as my major subjects in my bachelor's course. In which I came across the applications of as basic as the Logic gates, Analog and Digital signals, Power Electronics, Digital Signal Processing to the widespread fields such as Very large scale integrated circuits, Electromagnet fields , Computer networks. Being an admirer of practical applications persuaded me in participating into many seminars and technological events conducted by Institutes across the state.

In my undergraduate course span I benefited from the breadth of Pune University's syllabi content that has given me an absolute exposure to the core areas of Electronics & Telecommunication and a firm conceptual understanding. The duration of one year with Sushant Industries Ltd. where I had an opportunity to work in the Research and Development was the most exigent experience, where I was exposed to the practical concepts of Assembly language programming, Circuit debugging , Component selection, Market research and Public demands. Bearing a limited amount of time, the task was to develop an Autonomous cleaning robot, PIC controller based, which could do the job of cleaning without any assistance from a human being. The utmost important observation I had during my span was the structure of the company, the accordance in which the technical and the management team work, I was curious to apprehend (realize, understand, fathom) the type of education that would help me get into a field where I can garner technical as well as managerial knowledge. Through some research and help from the professors in my institute I was acquainted with Industrial engineering.

Completing my bachelors degree, I was one of the few selected from the rest of the department to work on a live project with ASICOT technology Ltd, which yielded into a fully funded final year project from the same company. The sponsorship from ASICOT technology was to support the design and development of a PID controller with an application. The opportunity helped me understand the different concepts of designing and programming. I also had a chance to implement the knowledge of C programming; I gained during a two and a half month course with SEED InfoTech.

Being a senior, I was an active member of a group called EHSAAS. A group formed to edify the under privileged children. Weekend classes were held for the children who aboard locally and couldn't afford to go to schools. Basic mathematics and languages were taught. I volunteered for many public awareness programs held across the city. I believe everyone should have a chance to learn and educate themselves.

I am very much interested in doing Ms Industrial engineering in you esteemed university. I realize the need to study at the centre stage of activity in this field at your university in USA. I believe that this program along with my hard work, determination and dedication will help me overcome all the hurdles in my future endeavors. For optimization of complex processes and systems there is unrestrained requirement for Industrial engineers. Hence I intend to pursue graduate studies in "Industrial Engineering"

I would also like to add that, the aspect of education lies at the relationship between the university and the student. I believe that the graduate study in Industrial engineering will prove to be an extensive important step in the making of my career.

.... Well ....sounds as if the sentence is too long and also "where I " is getting repeated. This is a good sentence and with a little bit of re-phrasing you can make it better, I guess :)

I think you've done a real good job. I only wish if you just talked about how your passion in this direction developed over the period. That's the only part I found missing and since this is your SOP, it is good to mention about it.

Wish you good luck!
