Hi all. I'm working on a paper for an American Authors class. It's concerning The Awakening by Kate Chopin. We were given a Norton's Anthology Edition of the book, which includes the text of the novel and many critical essays. We aren't allowed to use anything outside of that book, and we're required to cite at least three of the critical essays.
I'm just not sure how to do the citation. I know it's an anthology, but the title of the book itself is just The Awakening, so would that be the anthology title? And would I need to include Kate Chopin anywhere in the citation even though the critical essay isn't by her? And how would I do the parenthetical citation? (Author, #)? I apologize if this is confusing.
Thank you in advance for your help.
