Undergraduate / "We must reform society before we can reform ourselves" essay [4]
What is society? Which role a person plays in it? Society is the place we live in, all the people we have to deal with. It can be a small group (family, for instance) or a large one (the whole state with its civil society). The civil society takes care of its citizens. Only in society we can study, communicate, gain the esperience, learn to overcome difficulties. But sometimes we are not satisfied with everything we are surrounded by. "We buy things we do not need on those money we never earned in order to impress people we do not like". And we feel we need a restructuring of society. When the life in society goes bad, it means we must perform the change, relief. But which way to perform it is right? Which way to choose and not to be blamed after all?
Only strong leaders can perform changes. It means they are not scared to reform themselves. All in all, when we change the way of life, we also change ourselves. The change must be a relief. It must create a new life for the state, for the certain city and certain family. When we are surrounded with igly, idly people, the society becomes sordid. And if there is a leader who dare to change all the society, everyone changes too. Because the society does not exist without citizens, and opposite.
I completely agree with the quote of G.B.Shaw. In my opinion, to enter the new life, to bring people to their senses, to provide our offsrpings with the happy future we must reform the society. So there will be nessesary conditions to bring up sensible, vibrant children.
