Writing Feedback / TOEFL: The reasons of keeping our old friends [3]

Some people prefer making new friends instead of keeping their old friends. Making new friends could provide us with some advantages such as making us more sociable, learning how to interact with different attitudes, and maybe acquiring opportunities for new business; however, I suppose that, except our families, old friends are only people helping us in the crisis conditions. Apart from that, I believe there are many other reasons, because of which we had better keep our old friends.

To begin with, since we usually spend much time with our old friends, we all have many memories with them. The memories make us happy or even sad. Mohammad, an old friend of mine, sometimes talks to me about past memories, when we went to high school. We usually gab about our old teachers and classmates. Insomuch that these memories were interesting for us, we decided to find some of our old classmates. We surprisingly found some of them via Facebook, and I sent them some messages. I really would like to visit them again because I have not seen them for a long time. I hope they respond to me sooner.

The second point I would like to mention is that people who have old friends have learned how they can compromise with spread spectrum of viewpoints for a long time. I believe that someone who has many old friends is able to tolerate others' bad habits. Based on this belief, continuing an old relationship would improve some skills for living such as the ability to bear others' inappropriate behavior. For example, my dad has some friends, whose attitudes are not as compatible as him; however, he is able to interact with them very well. He always says to me that people do not always think as you expect; as a result, we had better try to understand others' strange behavior rather than cutting off relationships.

Most importantly, trust is the most priceless thing that friendships can grant us. Since old friends have been together for a long time, trust automatically would be made over time. In other words, if two people had not trusted each other, there is no doubt that they would not be able to continue their emotional bond anymore. Throughout our life, we all encounter crisis conditions. In such matters, we need someone to talk. In some cases, perhaps we cannot speak about our problems with our family because the problems could be very private, which we would be embarrassed by talking about them with our parents. Therefore, only people, with whom we can speak would be our old friends.

Broadly speaking, by taking merits of keeping old friends into account, I came to the conclusion that keeping our old friends is more important than making new friends. Keeping old friends has many advantages, which would be appealing to anyone. Firstly, we would have many amazing memories to remind; furthermore, we can even talk about our old stories and memories with our kids. Secondly, since we try to preserve our long-term relationships, we learn how to interact with others over time. It would make us be patience towards others' bad treatments as well. Last but not least, an old friendship provides both sides of the relationship with trust.

*******I appreciate your attention. Please, give me your valuable advices to improve my writing skill.

Writing Feedback / Fatherhood should be as present as motherhood in a child's life starting from the the birth - IELTS [5]

In today's world, having and raising children can be a very difficult task for families, the smallest component of the society. While mother's role is essential in a child's life, I completely agree with the idea that fatherhood is a as vital part of a healtyparantage as much as motherhood.

I believe that you had better write more general; for example, using mothers' instead of mother's and children instead of 'a child' makes more sense. Besides, there are at least two typos which I have highlighted by the red color.

Writing Feedback / In twenty years there will be fewer cars in use than there are today. [3]

Questions:
Do you agree or disagree with the following statement?
In twenty years there will be fewer cars in use than there are today.
Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.

Nowadays, cars act as an important role in our life; actually, people have embraced cars as a part of themselves for doing even minor works. In such matters, people who do not have car were encouraged to buy one. It leads to increasing cars on the streets and causes air pollution, heavy traffic, and even global warming. Scientists and specialists try to inform people that not only does car have benefits, but it also brings inevitable issues especially for big cities. As far as I know, governments in some developed countries have taken firm steps to decrease the number of cars in big cities. They have tried to achieve the goal by getting higher taxes and lay constraint rules down. I suppose that streets would have fewer cars in the near future compared to today. There are some convincing reasons, which would persuade people not to use cars anymore.

Firstly, as we all know, cars have made human life easier and have brought us many advantages like faster traveling. They even have become a part of our life; in some societies, apart from that whether it is fair or not, luxurious cars have become a symbol of prestige and proud. These factors have led to the fact that any family is convinced to have at least one. Since increasing cars on the streets has made several problems such as heavy traffic, accidents, air pollution and even global warming for residents and ecosystems, governments try to relieve this modern phenomenon. For example, in some developed countries such as the United States, Japan, China, and Russia, public transportation services have been improved to make decrease using personal cars.

The second point I would like to mention is that fuels such as coal, gas and oil are going to the end. Some vital parts of a country like factories, power stations, and military units need fuel to be survived. Cars deplete fuel for unworthy purposes. Governments know that future would be energy war; therefore, they attempt to encourage their people to leave personal cars off. As far as I know, governments in many countries try to force their people use cars less by getting higher taxes and raising rates of fuels.

Most importantly, by using internet, we can do any transaction from our home. Nowadays, if we want to pay money or order any kind of good, we can simply do it through internet. By going out, we would only waste our time and would breathe polluted air; as a result, many people prefer to stay at home and order what they want. I believe, over time, people would come to the conclusion that having car would not be necessary and useful in life.

Broadly speaking, I believe that in twenty years there will be fewer cars on the streets. There are convincing reasons, by which people prefer to stay at home instead of going out for minor works. First of all, since cars are the main reason of many issues like air pollution and heavy traffic in big cities, governments try to employ innovative and feasible plans, one of which is public transportation. Actually, by improving public transportation services, people would be encouraged to leave their own cars off. Second, fuels and energy on the earth go to the end; as a result, governments prefer to use them for vital parts of their countries. Last but not least, since almost any work can be done fast, easily and inexpensively via internet, cars would become the unnecessary part of any life in the near future.
