How do you think you can contribute to this school? (answering this question) [7]
Merged: If you are awarded this Scholarship, how will you contribute?
If you are awarded a X scholarship, how will you contribute to the X Scholarship program and our community of X Scholars? (100 word maximum)
Can anyone give me an idea on how to write this essay? It is a scholarship application essay. I am not exactly sure what I can write with such a small word limit. It a pretty competitive scholarship.

Friends and activities - WHAT IS IMPORTANT TO YOU? WHY? [3]
I think overall you wrote a good essay but you can improve on second paragraph. You have sort of compressed together a lot of reasons how your friends helped you. And that is okay but you need to sum it up to how that has built you as a person.

What as a student at Boston University most excites you? [5]
I think you ahve diversified too much as you have mentioned a lot of reasons. Instead since you are struggling with the wrold limit try to focus on 3 UNIQUE things you like about Boston University. ' I can see myself working with industry experts and debating business models with fellow peers at BU and also highlighting notes at night while revising Keynesian theory and Phillips curve.' this line in the last paragraph feels a little forced and not natural. I am saying this because ou have followed this line up with 'Thus..'. Is this the only reason? I dont think youve summarised well in the conlcusion.

UofT's econ program - Scholarship Essay Question 1 [2]
Describe your academic objectives and indicate how these are appropriate to your long-range goals.
Please include specifically how a Bachelor's degree from the University of Toronto will contribute to your achieving your longer-range goals. (100 word maximum)
UofT's econ program, special topics courses and TEEL lab opportunities excite me. These coupled with the summer abroad program which I intend to take will help me understand socio economic issues like poverty and quality education in cultures unlike my own such as South Africa who have faced similar upheavals like Bangladesh, my home country. Though these topics are of key interest I also believe most opportunities and access to education are skewed male. The interventions needed in school curriculums and changes policies needed can be understood through the multidimensional immersion offered at UofT. I see studying under award winning professors who specialize in areas of research such as poverty and behavioral economics like Prof. Gazzale, Ann Armstrong to mention a few.The defining part of university are its people , and UofT's vibrant and intellectually stimulating curious individuals is where I want to be in.
