Writing Feedback / College education: available to all or to only good students? [4]

While over the past fewseveral decades, education was still far forfrom many people, nowadays anybody (used in questions and negatives) everybody can receive education. However, some people think that higher education should be available only to good students. Others believe that a college university education should be available to all students. (try not repeat the same sentences which topic referred) Whereas some people maintain that only intelligent students should be educated in universities, others may disagree and contend that students with different abilities have the same right to get a tertiary education. But in my point of view it is necessary that the schools and colleges are available for all students whether they are good or bad. The following essay will express two reasons that support my opinion.

Since time is limited, I'll have to stop here. I am not firmly sure that my marking is proper. This is just my view. If you feel will, I will check the rest soon.

Writing Feedback / Children of different abilities-teach students in accordance with their aptitude [5]

Some people think that children of different abilities should be educated together. Other people think that it's better to teach the intelligent children separately and with special treatment. What do you think? Use your own ideas of knowledge and experience and support your arguments with examples and relevant evidence.

It has been a controversial issue over whether general education or specific education is seemed more suitable for children. Even though some people argue that the former alternative could be benefit children for their future development, I firmly believe that the latter opinion is better for them.

To begin with, dividing children into different classes due to their abilities advantages teachers to formulate better target-oriented contents of courses. On the one hand, a diverse range of knowledge expanded from fundamental courses can be instilled into wise children in order to maximize their talent. On the other hand, teachers can put more attention on the comprehension of basic concept in terms of the other children to guarantee the minimum of syllabus.

Secondly, it is an undeniable fact that both the sense of conceit from clever children and the sense of self-abasement from others exist in the indistinctive education. However, they are not only eliminated. Even better. Because the similar intelligent level children are aggregated, the advanced children turn self-conceited feeling into competitive spirit, and self-abased children commence to help each other.

Last but not least, my opinion can easily find common view, even 2500 years ago. Confucius has said:' teach students in accordance with their aptitude.' The educational philosophy is adopted by offspring and verified as validity.

Given this argument, it is reasonable to conclude that children should be educated according to their natural abilities.

Writing Feedback / The line chart illustrates the change in the use of new technology in general families in Britain [3]

The graph below shows in percentage terms the changing patterns of domestic access to modern technology in homes in the UK.

Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant. Write at leat 150 words.

The line chart illustrates the change in the percentage of new technology which is used in general families in Britain from 1996 to 2003.

During the 8-year period, there was a steady increase happened in two different technological devices, namely CD player and home computer, the former from 60 percent to a little more than 80 percent and the latter from slightly less than 30 percent to just over 50 percent.

The percentage of Mobile phone saw an upward trend with some ups and downs, from nearly 20 percent in 1996 to almost 75 percent in 2003. According to the data of internet access, however, the figure was not provided to domestic until 1998, but its proportion grew rapidly from 10 percent to at least 47 percent in 2003.

In conclusion, while the percentage of CD player occupied the first place for 8 years, mobile phone surpassed home computer, won a "runner up" in the percentage and a "champion" in the increasing amplitude.

P.S. how to use the word "data"?
Thank you very much.

Writing Feedback / IELTS: The Natural Resistance to Changes [6]

I notice that you claim each reason followed by your suggestion.
However, In my opinion, to express your essay clarity, I think a better way would collect your reasons together into a single paragraph, and put the possible suggestions together into another paragraph.

It is my thought, just an advice.

Writing Feedback / IELTS [Chart Interpretation]:Domestic access to modern technology by residents of UK [7]

the Internet (also 'the internet')
the large system of connected computers around the world which allows people to share information and communicate with each other using email
I found out about the bombings from/on the Internet.

(Definition of the Internet noun from the Cambridge Advanced Learner's Dictionary)

According to the dictionary, I think there is no difference whether to capitalize the first letter or not.

Writing Feedback / IELTS: The Natural Resistance to Changes(reason and solution) [3]

Dear EF_Friends, this is my first time to submit my essay. please give me some advices on my essay. Thank you very much for your help.

IELTS Writing Task 2.
People naturally resist making changes in their lives.
What kind of problems can this cause? What solutions can you suggest?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience. Write at least 250 words.

With the rapid development of economy and technology, the world looks different almost everyday. however, a vast amount of people do not choose to catch up with these variations instead of keeping their lifestyles fixed. The possible reasons and available suggestions will be identified in this argument.

first of all, the primary cause contributed to this phenomenon is habit. in other words, people are used to live in the present life. The habit imposes them to settle down. Moreover, the sense of fear to new circumstance is another reason. It is reported that 70 percent of interviewees are not adaptable to a brand-new surrounding. The most important reason, however, is laziness, human likes the other animals. is unwilling to do anything by instinct.

To change people's minds, I think that at least three methods could be performed. At the beginning, people can be informed what negative influences are emerging due to their unsuitable habits. For example, many people have given up driving to work for walking or cycling because of the environmental appeal from mass media. Secondly, it is wise that people are not only introduced how bad they were, and also how good they will be. That is to say, people should know what benefits they will receive from new circumstance and change, therefore they can have enough courage to put it into practice. Last but not least, governments and other related organizations could provide necessary support and advice to reduce people's fear of the new state.

All in all, facing the increasingly updated world, people have to make some change in some where in order to adapt to the ever-progressing world.
