Book Reports / Jane Eyre Essay (how unfairly Jane Eyre, as a woman, is being treated) [5]

I need to write an essay about Jane Eyre and how unfairly Jane Eyre, as a woman, is being treated. This is what I had originally, but my teacher told me it needed work.

Although most men do not realize it is happening, women are not being treated fairly in comparison to men. This has improved in recent years, but is still clearly evident in today's society. Women's decisions have been controlled by people, usually men, because of their misguided sense of empowerment, whether it is brutal treatment, a marriage with inequality or an obstacle in the woman's quest for freedom. Jane Eyre deals with every one of these conflicts through the eyes of the title character. Through her romantic and family relationships, as well as job positions, Jane confronts the many problems that women today face.

Could I have some help editing it?

Thank you so much!

Essays / "The American Dream" - how to start this essay? [4]

Is this for The Great Gatsby? Try starting off with a quick historical lesson. Teach the reader about that time and then introduce the book and your arguments.
