Writing Feedback / Picture Telling - bout a little boy sitting alone on a swing [2]

Howard was sitting quietly on the swing in the nearby park beside the apartment. His parents were picking a fight again. He felt so depressed that he thought he was going to burst into tears. His parents had been arguing for so long that Howard even couldn't recall the very first argument his parents had started. He is only too desperate to keep hoping his parents could ever stop getting at each other and relive the memories before his father lost his job. Since his dad was quite a restrained man and he never spoke out his need, he was often neglected by others, particularly, his superior. Therefore, when it came to cutting out people in the company, he is the first choice on the list even though his dad was not any worse or less sensitive than any of his fellows. Day by day, his mom could no longer take it no more, so they started to fight and also, his mom was getting more and more irritable due to her tiring double swift work. At the same time, they totally gave Howard no regard as well. Whenever Howard wanted to share some happiness or sadness or madness with his parents, they were always absent. Compared with the old ones, Howard knew better which could offer him happiness. After all, he was no longer happy. Tracing back to the happy times with his parents, Howard gave "happiness" a definition of fancy toys and newest video games. Now, no matter how many toys he had, he knew he would never be happy again if his parents kept fighting and scowling at each other. He came to the realization that, after all, happiness wasn't about shallowness or things you wanted, it was all about having someone you love.

Writing Feedback / Parents Will Always Be Parents; Personal/Reflection essay about parents [11]

In the end, despite the times I would feel annoyed with the silly things they would do to show their love for me, at least I can confidently say that there are two people in my life who will always be there for me no matter what.

In the end, despite sometimes I would be annoyed by my parents' over-protected action, at least I can confidently say there are always two people there for me to rely on.

I think your words are too strong, and silly is too negative. :)

Writing Feedback / The best movie I've ever seen, without a doubt, is called "The pursuit of happiness" [4]

The best movie I've ever seen, without a doubt, is called "The pursuit of happiness." Before watching this movie, as I pondered thoroughly on the title, what did it mean by" the pursuit of happiness?" Is happiness something that one can pursue?

The main character of this movie was a man named Chris Gardner with an exceedingly amount of remarkable attributes such as intelligence, persistence, and optimism. All these attributes prove that he was a remarkable individual. The movie started off with Chris desperately trying to sell, with not too much luck, a bone density monitoring system. After getting divorced with his wife, Linda, Chris was so devastated that he thought he might collapse. He lost his apartment due to the lack of money; he lost his bank accounts, credit cards, and had to spend time in jail because he was unable to pay off his fine, but all through it he was dedicated to keeping his son and pursuing his dream. Although his life was miserable, his love to his son continually pushed him forwards and he kept struggling and fighting for a chance to survive. His intelligence gave him a chance to compete with others in an internship. And Chris struggled so hard to work his way from unpaid intern to something more substantial, even as life continued to offer him setbacks. However, it seemed like every time you thought things were going to get better, it became worse again. Chris were always searching for happiness for the sake that he was constantly discouraged by people around him, feeling left out by the one who mattered to him, and being unable to keep up with the changes around that he felt so uncertain of what to do next because his vision was clouded with too much frustration and desperation.

The most touching scene in the movie was the night at the subway public bathroom. Chris brought his son there for the first night after they got expelled from their apartment and had his son believe that they were exploring and the bathroom was a cave. That night, while his son was asleep on his lap, he cried. The tears streamed down his face, dropped on his sleeves, and deeply blooded his heart. He knew that he could never give in to life because he had to offer his son a good living. He had to be the father that his son would ever adore. At the end of the movie, it showed that Chris succeeded; he became a stockbroker after being through so many obstacles. He was holding hands with his son, eventually he experienced happiness.

After watching it, I felt inspired and renewed. The movie was a real heart-warming piece of art. It taught me a lot about the importance of virtues and strengths in our happy lives. And most importantly, it reminded me of my dad, who is working abroad. I know that my dad loves this family morn than anything and was trying so hard to provide for our family, but we never had the chance to communicate and express our love. Hence, what is happiness, after all? I realize happiness has nothing to do with any shallowness; it is all about having the one we love, keeping the one we care.

Writing Feedback / The amount of leisure time enjoyed by men and women [2]

Furthermore, the amount of leisure time enjoyed by men prevailed over women in all different employment status.

My opinion:I think it is a little abrupt to put this sentence as a concluding sentence.

Speeches / School is a temple of learning ; My School Plans [6]

My School Plans
School is a temple of learning where we are involved in learning process. It is a place where we learn basic things like manners, discipline, punctuality and many more along with studies. We spend most of our childhood in schools, and there are a few things I would like to achieve in my school life.

First of all, I indeed want to be more organized for school, so I must've to stick with the plans I make for myself everyday. As a saying goes, "Being organized is the key to success in work and in life." Since many people underestimate the importance of being organized, it not only helps me make better use of my time, but allows me to focus my energy and direct my potential toward my desire of getting good grades in school.

There are many advantages of being organized that include reduced stress, saving time, and working more efficiently. I also found that being organized can help me reach my goals in school and become more leisure when confronted any circumstances.

Secondly, I want to be a warmer person. I think basically I can put on my smile as a greeting whenever I don't feel like speaking because sometimes I am really unconcerned of things around me, and that lets my classmates consider me as a cold fish, a person who's really hard to get with. Or rather saying something positive to my friends, classmates or teachers I meet even if they're really annoying me. When I think positively, and picture positive things in my head, I can't help but feel more optimistic, and then this will manifest physically in the form of a nice smile and nice behavior. Therefore, I will not only be happier myself, but also affect the people around me to make them feel just like I do.

Thirdly, doing nice things for my classmates, even when no one is around to see. I think by doing this, it can help me make a habit of being considerate. Another important thing that I have to improve is putting myself in another person's position. Sometimes it can be hard to look past my own self-interest, but to truly be a considerate person, sometimes I have to learn to be thoughtful of my classmates around me in order to avoid misunderstandings and hurt feelings.

Next, when it comes to studying, sometimes I think it can be one of life's most boring and mundane activities. So I can easily be worn out in some days that I literally don't feel like reviewing or previewing my school works. To make me stick with my study plans, I think I will keep reminding myself of my purpose on studying and daring myself to reach to the certain point that I would never imagine I could get to.

To conclude it, I would like to accomplish these goals during my junior high school time. Although it might be a bit hard for me to stick with these plans, it would be a big progress for me to become more mature if once I have these all done.
