Motivation and Volunteering in a Private Organization

Last two years was the most problematic period of my life, being like a corpse among energetic and enthusiast people. Sometimes when people have a trouble and cannot solve it, they want to escape to desert island. I was not an exception: wanted to run away and did not want to communicate with my friends and family members. However, after some time I understood that it may cause even more troubles.

Moreover, I realized that the approach for dealing with a problem mostly depends on the culture. It means that we have a barrier because we are familiar with our culture only, in general. This thought was the reason for thinking about studying in other country. I believe that exchanging knowledge among diverse cultures can aid to find new more efficient solutions. The program can give me a chance to meet with people from other cultures as well as to share information about mine. As a result, I and other participants can acquire totally distinct vision to the issue and probably to solve it.

One day, I obtained a clue to my question that I was asking myself everyday: why I was not happy like others. During the lecture, my teacher told that the meaning of life is happiness, but not your own, others'. In other words, a person feels delighted when people surrounding him are contented and he sees their satisfied smiles. After this unexpected statement, my mind has changed rapidly. That is why, I want to make my country a pleasant place, even the best one, to live. Being a future programmer, I can create helpful applications that will be able to make people live in better conditions: work less and spend most of their time with family members or for themselves. As my mother country is developing, the educational system has not developed fully regardless continuous improvements. For this purpose, the program can help me a lot by providing an opportunity to work on diverse projects under the supervision of experienced professors and consequently to become professional developer and enhance population's life a bit at least.

Being a volunteer in private organization called CodeCraft for a year proved once again that attempting to improve others' life boosts happiness in yours. Its aim is to teach children programming skills and through this to develop IT field in Uzbekistan. The reason for participating was the goal converging with mine. One of the objectives of the course was individual approach to every kid. My task was assisting the instructor and helping kids aged 9-13 when they could not catch a point or experienced other issues. As the project required to work with children, I was supposed to be adaptive and open-minded. Despite the contrast in the way of thinking between my peers and children, I did not experience any difficulty or pressure.

The most important factor for achieving a goal and doing the best is motivation. Its existence makes things seemed impossible to become real. According to the points mentioned above, I can be sufficiently good participant in the program. I hope that the program will enable me to improve myself and enhance my knowledge and experience.

Nowadays, many cities have become less pleasant place to live.What is problem? What is your suggestion?
A lot of people live in cities. Everyone likes living in the city or countries. It is undeniable that amount of people who live in the cities is increasing. However, many cities have become less pleasant place to live because of some reasons.

The first reason is pollution. Nowadays, there are many cars in the roads and factories in areas of cities. The number of cars and factories is increasing year by year. They produce different types of smog. It effects to peoples' health, lifestyle, for example, some people suffer from breathing or other health problems. In other side of this condition is noise, old people don't like noise, they need calm and it can influence to their mood or in the night someone can not sleep. To solve trouble of cars and factories government has to build parks in countryside and create new tax to driver in cities. In this way, drivers can leave their cars in parks. Moreover, they begin using public transport and it is useful for government because it is profitable. Doubtless, it helps to diminish the huge number of cars in the roads. About factories, government has to move them to place which the number of population is the lowest so the harm of factories is reduced.

The second one is unfriendliness among neighbors, which is the worst habit in our life. Neighbors do not speak to each other or do not help each other. People live in one place many years although they don't know with whom they dwell and when people move to new place, they feel lonely because they don't know other neighbors. In situation of unfriendliness, government has to build backgrounds. Neighbors go to walk alone or with their children. It is possible they get to know each other and in this way they make friendship with other neighbors. Moreover, everyone should be more attentive to each other. For example, if your neighbor is new, you have to help him/her or to be adapted to this place.

The next one is crime. Amount of crime is rising year by year; it is every country collides with this problem. Many people don't feel safety at their homes or in the street.Cities' condition is very comfortable for crime because there are many people who are and live in the cities. For example, you are waiting for bus, in this moment pickpocket can bring your wallet. One cannot deny that you don't feel it. Why did it happen? Because there are many people around you. In this case government should enhance amount of time for imprisonment and punishment. It is very clear from observations that people begin to be afraid of being in prison for long time and number of murder, stealing and other bad things is decreased.

Government's figure is very important in the space of solution of these problems. However, to solve these kinds of problems we shouldn't consider only to government. We should try to solve them ourselves or help to government to do it because we are responsible for our life.

What is memorable day? Memorable day is the funniest and happiest day of your life. However, memories are not just the ones that make you feel like you are in heaven. Sometimes, it is unforgettable because of the pain that has given to you. But either good or bad, it will still be the part of us, our life. It will remain in us forever, everywhere we walk. When you think about this day or memory, you are very happy and you want to smile or you are sad and you want to cry. Let's talk about good things. In my opinion, everyone has memorable day. It was Sunday. Early morning I, my classmates, our parents and teachers met in school. Why is so much early? Because we decided to set off and chose unique and immemorial city Samarkand. It was as school trip. I had never been abroad Tashkent, it was the first and unforgettable experience. It seemed a very special thing for me. It was fascinating. Because I was with my friends and my mother. It's littered friendly and kind atmosphere. We went to there by bus. It meant we have much time to take photos and videos. I like doing it very much and we did it almost during whole day, everywhere. We had only a day to trip around Samarkand and because of it we didn't see every place there. I was in Registan Square, Gor-e Amir, Mirzo Ulugbek's observatory and certainly market. There were very amazing and beautiful place. I was very surprised at it. I don't see place as them every day. Many tourists walked around these places and took their photo. One tourist took my and my friend's photo. My friend and I see Registan and took its photo, he did it too. Then he took our photo. It was very funny situation. Then he looked at us and started to smile and we began to smile as answer. It happened in Registan. Before returning home we were in bazaar. We all bought bread to home. I think, it is tradition to bring home something after trip. Then we returned to our bus and went home. It was about 5 o'clock. Everyone got tired and wanted to sleep. We all told that we do not want to go to school tomorrow. That is why our head teacher let us to miss school tomorrow and told secret that she wanted to relax tomorrow. My mother and I were at home at 8 o'clock. First thing that I did it was changing my clothes and going to bed.

It was one of the funniest and the most amazing day of my life. Because in this day my friends and my mother were with me. My relationships with my classmates become better and more amicable. I got tired so much after this trip. However I have something to remember. Nowadays when I meet my classmates, we remember this day with smile. Now I have a dream to go somewhere abroad with my whole family and I want to go through many things, which I have never experienced.
