Thank you for your response. One of the "style guides" from my event was to use the generality format for the non-scientist. I did not know whether or not the general public would comprehend that information or not. If you think that it is relevant and friendly, then I wouldn't mind at all including it in the passage. I am interacting with the forum, because I have no clue.

Thank you again for your time, and please, if you have anymore corrections please respond as many times as you think I need. I need so much help, that you couldn't even imagine.

Below is a passage from an article that I am trying to understand an write about. I am trying to make it more friendly to the general population, yet maintain the level of sophistication. Can someone tell me whether or not my passage satisfies the obligations in Assignment #2. Am I focused and clear? Are there other things that I did not consider in my passage that would make it better. Thank you.

Assignment #2:

Put the following passage into your own words: Re-write the passage below in our own words, making sure the topic is focused and clear. Makes sure the main ideas are clear.

Original Passage:

FeS2 was prepared using a common solvothermal method. To prepare the sol mixture, sodium thiosulfate (Na2S2O3, 99.9%, Junsei Chemical, Japan) and iron chloride hexahydrate (FeCl3-6H2O, 99.9%, Junsei Chemical, Japan) were used as the S and Fe sources. Synthesized FeS2 and TiO2 powders and FeS2/TiO2 composites were examined by X-ray diffraction (MPD, PANalytical) using nickel-filtered CuKα radiation (30 kV, 30 mA). FeS2 has been prepared so far by different methods such as thermal sulfuration 19, 20, mechanochemical milling 21, 22. Through comparison of the various approaches, solvothermal method is chose because it exhibit many advantages such as mild preparation conditions, simplicity, low cost, and so on 23, 24. The method has been extensively used in the synthesis of many metal sulfides with special properties. Synthesized FeS2 and TiO2 powders and FeS2/TiO2 composites were examined by X-ray diffraction (MPD, PANalytical) using nickel-filtered CuKα radiation (30 kV, 30 mA). The photo splitting of aqueous methanol (methanol/water (1:1 vol/vol)) was carried out using a 2-L Pyrex photoreactor designed in our laboratory [21].

Writing Feedback / What is Love? What does it mean to you? [3]

For me, I think that I am more superficial. I feel that you can "get good at love". I think love is a skill that can be learned, and you won't learn it unless you put in the time. I don't think the way we as a "human civilization" has defined love is on the same premise as our evolution based neurological phenomenon that appeared in our physiological advancement. I think that the way we see love now, is through the perception of our higher evolved brains, that have the ability to recognize self, and make complex "connections" with others. That is why love has turned into a skill. There are some lovers that will make you forget about other lovers, because of there performance. Because of this, the quality of one's love can be compared, hence it becomes more competitive, due to the limitless possibilities of conceivable performances via the higher brain.

For me, I need the money and the time, then and only then will I search for love, because to be financially challenged, means it will be very hard for you to practice and practice and practice, to be a great lover. The one who practices the most in attraction and physical love making will more than likely make the better lover. Hence may be happier in life. One of the reasons why making loads of money brings happiness. So for me I need money, in order to "afford the training"... just like affording school to get an electrical engineering degree.

Undergraduate / SHORT ANSWERS for a transfer application to SU [3]

Having a large, diverse student body is extremely important as well....grow as a scientist and facilitate me becoming a productive member of the scientific community...methods to tackle obstacles in all aspects of my life, along with time management skills....interns to help get them work experience and understanding of how Chemistry can be applied outside of the classroom.... prestigious University with a student body who are just as passionate about their academic studies as the institution that they attend.

I think that the phrases from your writing that I quoted are the central ideas to lots of money and prosperity. I don't have much writing wisdom to give you advice on how to critique your passage, but I can say if you focus strong on your first four years at Syracuse, you will be able to work for who you want, marry who you want, and live where you want. Keep all of the quoted phrases with you untill you retire of start your own business.
