At that point you should be providing information about your previous experiences that will actually prove that you have a future as a biotechnologist. Why do you want to pursue these studies on a personal or career goal basis? How does the university fit into your profile of an educational institution that ties in with your previous exposure and future plans? Your essay is too vague in that aspect. You do not really prove to have any experience that would support your claims for study. Focus your discussion. Remove the generality in your claims and statements. This is a highly unconvincing letter of interest. You are writing for a specific university and yet, there is no strong reference as to why you have settled in that decision.
