Greetings!

I'm currently writing a motivation letter as a requirement for the said program I'm applying for. See below for the guidelines for the paper:

Tell us why you have chosen the ASC Master's Degree, briefly describe
the impact of this academic program on the development of your main
activity/education/career, tell us how you think participating in this
Master's Degree will be life-changing and discuss your motivation to
study abroad.

See below for the letter. I did my best on this one. All feedback is much appreciated. Let me know if you have any concerns. Thank you!

Dear members of the selection committee,

It is with great enthusiasm that I write this letter to express my interest in applying for the Master's program in Advanced Spectroscopy, an area that I consider crucial for the continuous development of chemical science. With my academic background in Technological Chemistry from the University of Brasília, I am confident that my experience and skills align well with the objectives of this program.

During my undergraduate studies, I had the opportunity to participate in diverse research projects, including the geochemical characterization of gases and atmospheric particles, as well as the evaluation of pesticide residues in food. These experiences provided me with a solid foundation in analytical techniques, including ion chromatography and mass spectrometry, skills that I consider essential for specializing in advanced chemical spectroscopy.

Additionally, I completed internships in chemical industries, where I was able to apply my theoretical knowledge in a practical context. These experiences taught me the importance of innovation and problem-solving in the chemical industry, skills that I hope to further develop during the Master's program.

I have a keen interest in exploring the latest advancements in spectroscopy and its application in various fields, such as materials analysis, chemical reaction studies, and new materials development. I am particularly excited about the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in this area and collaborate with renowned colleagues and professors.

Upon completion of the Master's program, I intend to pursue further studies at an advanced level, possibly pursuing a Ph.D. My ultimate goal is to contribute to the advancement of chemical science and apply my knowledge to address global challenges related to sustainability and the environment.

I appreciate your consideration of my application and the time spent reading this letter. I look forward to the opportunity to join this program and contribute to the academic community.

Sincerely,

Luca

Being an Erasmus Mundus motivational letter, I was expecting a far more interesting and informative presentation than this. Your letter is not as informative as it could have been. The discussion points are too clipped, summarized, for the reviewer to consider this letter an essential part of your application. There is a need for you to be more open in this letter, developing more than what you have here. Take these points, but explain further. Make sure the motivation always pops, regardless of what aspect of the prompt you are discussing. Only one part of the letter should be brief. The rest needs to be better threshed out at those are considered the most important consideration aspects of your motivation.
