letter to sara

Dear Sara,

How are you? How have your family been? Many thank for your last letter. It's glad to hear from you again. I'm sorry I haven't written for such a long time. But, I 've been really busy studying English to pass the B1 VSTEP. I hope you and your family are well.

I 'm writing this letter to ask you what you want to do. There are many part-time jobs for foreign student. You can do watress in the coffee shop, milk tea shop or restaurant because them can apply easily that do not need any previous work experiance and qualification. Besides, the salary is paid acceptable.

Regard about your travel, I suggest you should to visit some tourist attractions in Ha Noi and Da Nang such as Ba Dinh square, West Lake , Ba Na Hill. I'm sure those places won't make you disappointed.

You should stay homestay during the journey because it's comfortable, enlarged and furthermore its cost also affordability. You can watch the stress and enjoy take a coffee near the window. Then, we can enjoy delicious local food. I hope you will have a great time in my country

Anyway, I must go and go on studying English and something else. Give my love to your family. We must try and meet up soon. I'm looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Best regards,
Thuy

I 'm writing this letter to ask you what you want to do.

Why are you asking Sara this? You need to establish the reason why you would be asking her what she wants to do. Is she a foreign student looking to fill her vacant time in Vietnam? What is the reason for this question? There is a lack of subject clarity in this paragraph. You are making suggestions but the reader cannot understand how these suggestions are relevant to the question. Always establish the foundation for the discussion in the letter. You could have done that in the opening paragraph where you were asking to be excused for not writing to her. That would have been the best place to establish the central topic of the letter.

How have your -> How has your
Many thank -> Many thanks
It's glad to -> It's nice to (I'm glad to)
You should be aware of your grammar and spelling, and I think there are several other ways to replace How are you? (How are you doing? maybe) to improve your letter and make it more natural.
