BOOMERS VS GEN Y: Help with Hypothesis

Hi everyone.

For my assignment, I have to conduct a field observation about some aspect of the baby boomers' behaviour in comparison to Generation Y.
I need to include the following:
-Describe how I would conduct this research including a hypothesis
-Behaviours to observe and measure
-Observation sheet to record behaviours
-Where to conduct the observation
-How I would obtain subjects' consent and how I would total my observations.

I want to do something along the lines of the way one generation acts towards the other in terms of in the workplace. For example, boomers will treat boomers differently in the workplace in comparison to generation y, with respect to hiring, friendships, developing, and retaining employees.

Can someone help me? :)

I think a really straightforward one would be political leanings and social views.
Things like views on same sex marriage, military budgets, and general conservative vs liberal views tend to differ quite a bit and are easy to survey.

You could also discuss job prospects/education, and the idea that students today are required to go to college to achieve a standard of living a baby boomer could have acquired with just a high school education (slightly exaggerated, but a definite trend)
