Pros:
You can test drugs before being used on humans. this is essential to identify the impacts and any side effects that the drugs may have on humans. There is no other way of real life testing of these products. It allows development of critical crues and drugs which saves so many human lives every year.

Cons: so many. Poor animals. Ethics. There are biological differences between humans an animals so even after numerous tests on animals you cannot be 100% certain that the results will be replicated in humans. Also, the extensive testing done on animals while it would be strictly restricted (if done on humans).

Cons: animal have feelings and cruelty to any living thing is inhumane.
- you can give the examples of dogs being used in labs and maybe go an extra mile and address the animal rights being violated in China for fur.
