'The Masque of the Red Death' and 'Hop Frog' - Ideas on Starting a Research Essay

Hello, I'm having problem starting my research essay. This is my first research essay I'm writing, and I chose the topic that involved 'The Masque of the Red Death' and 'Hop Frog' and the fairy tale motifs that were in the story. I discovered some of the fairy tale motifs, but the problem is how to start and insert them into the essay. Some advice and extra motif ideas would be great! Thanks.

Google the titles with the word "analysis" and you will find great articles about them. Include the word fairy tale and you will probably find exactly what you need.

What do you think is the significance of a fairy tale motif in a story like this?
