Rape is something that is well known all around the world but why is it never talked about? There are thousands of men and woman that are raped every year but the amount of people that report it is very minimal. There can be endless reports of rape, and still are very little findings that uncover the truth. But overall, this shows the lack of justice to be served when victims are in danger from rape.

The rape culture is a persuasive environment but when it comes to rape, it is very common and for sexual violence to be displayed. Rape culture is very common and is downplayed and also justify when it comes to the media or popular crime cultures. Because this culture is so harmful it uses languages that demeans women and the way that they treat women as objects. It also portrays sexual violence and leads to society that ignores women's rights and their safety.

Therefore, rape culture has been a long-standing issue in America and is very persistent to this day. It's been an ongoing problem that should've ended a long time ago and never ever existed. Although, women are predominantly impacted by the rape culture to this day and their daily lives. The society, bear significant responsibility for perpetuating and the distressing problem towards women in this society.

Some may ask what rape culture is and what it exactly looks like. Rape culture is a community or an environment where sexual assault occurs and does not normalize at all. In a recent article on the inside southern they explained that it basically says "People of every age gender, race, religion and economic status can be victims of sexual assault." sexual assault is something that takes place in rural religions, small communities, and urban centers. It was predicted and listed that one in three girls and one in six boys will ever experience sexual assault before they turn 18. But one question is does the US Department of Justice get these cases resolved and the justice that it needs.

As for the rape culture this can be in any relationship and it also states me inside southern that "Plenty and numerous individuals in abusive relationships continue to care for their partners, and they experience self blame, a lack of support system, and even external resources. And most women constantly believe that they are unable to exit the relationship that they are currently in that is abusive. And additionally, the time where it comes to departure from an abusive relationship is highly perilous and scary.

As for rape culture it comes in many different forms such as knowing it's dangerous, victim blaming, and knowing it's dangerous for those effected by sexual assault. Victim blaming in the rape culture world can be seen in so many different forms to so many different people. Those many different forms can be like treating the other person who has gone through this trauma and treating them like it was something they really wanted to do or go around saying that they wanted to. Nowadays victim blaming is very high and it makes others go through trauma even worse. The right culture especially when it comes to victim blaming it makes it very hard for victims that have gone through this to heal. This will also make it harder for those victims to go to the police, or to family members, or to friends, or anyone that's trying to help to protect them.

While enabling the victim blaming or holding the victim accountable for their wrongly actions can be very dangerous. When engaging in victim blaming this is in addition to not helping get a response from that victim. But this can also lead to a very negative change of mood from the victim and cause even more problems. Nowadays we live in a world where people say "they get what they deserve" or "why didn't you do anything back to prevent that." Not everybody can stick up for themselves especially in a situation of rape culture. But things like this will enable the victim to blame and caused the victim to never be safe or trustworthy to anybody not even family members, friends, or anyone close to them.

Sexual violence or rape is not hard for the victims it's the present moment that it's hard because of how long lasting memories or visuals effects it gives you., for example those who have gone through sexual assault are usually the ones that experience more therapy visits suicidal thoughts, depression, And many mental health issues. When someone is sexually assaulted most lose the trust in anyone and everyone and that can lead to suicidal thoughts and depression. When the victim has nobody around to help or to comfort them they tend to think negativity and then things turn sideways and could take their life away. If you're not checking in on a person or a victim that has gone through sexual assault or through such trauma this can really hurt them mentally and physically When you don't check up on them this causes them to fall into a depression stage and when there is no support it could end up in a suicidal.

Now we're not checking in on the the victim This also causes stress levels to rise severely and makes them not want to participate in activities, schools, and or interact with friends or family when they come around. For example when stress levels get too high for a victim of sexual abuse this usually means that the feeling of loneliness has begun. This also leads to loss of trust and makes them not want to be around anyone for a long period of time. Now when it comes to stress levels this can also lead to the loss of not finishing school. This usually always comes from middle to college student age. Which means this can create a student of failure and then lead to further actions that are usually not great.

Another big thing that comes with rape culture is drug addiction or drug abuse. Many women and men together many drugs off the streets such as cocaine, marijuana, and many other major drugs. Now when it comes to drug abuse this can mean more than eight times a day of taking drugs or snorting them or smoking any severe drug.

Many victims that are raped either do not let anyone know or they do not report it which can lead to no connections or arrests To their sexual assault case. With this many victims choose not to report the crime because they fear that they will not be able to be believed that it happened to them. Also because they don't want to avoid the ordeal of a criminal trial and be in front of everybody telling their case. Although when it comes to trials most victims do not want to be seen in the courtroom with the person who sexually assaulted them. Most are scared to face their sexual assaulter In the courtroom and be afraid to hear the total opposite of their case and then make it seem like they're the bad guy. They are also scared of facing any victims within the courtroom due to an assault that everyone can find out about when they wanted it just to be between with them and their assaulter and their lawyers.

Therefore rape will always be an unknown cause but why are there so many unfiled reports? Why are there so little crimes on it? Although this doesn't change the victims and how they feel. No matter what a victim goes through during rape it puts a high toll on you or even a negative effect on you. And somehow most victim cases end up in a person dead or just thinking suicidal. Rape will always be a well known topic or something to hear about but it will always be something that will never get filed. Therefore we wish things could change and that people can get justice for all the victims of sexual assault.

The paper over uses the word rape. It removes the importance of the word in the overall presentation. Try to use alternative words to help lessen the monotonous use of the term. You can refer to "sexual abuse", "despoilment", "pillage", to name but a few alternative words.

Always assume that the reader is not familiar with your topic. Therefore, you must define rape in the introductory paragraph. Remember that there are at least 2 types of rape as well, statutory and marital. So you have to be specific in the presentation. Don't just assume that people know the meaning of the word. Try to narrow down the scope of the presentation by properly defining the term as well.
